2009 IFCA SPONSOR OFFICIAL RULES
Rule # 1 - Qualified entrants must be owners, managers, or full time employees who participate on a daily basis in the activity of a Grand National or National Sponsoring Company as of January lst and all other working days prior to the National Finals. Also living at home with eligible owners, managers, or employees and are classified as dependents said owners, manager or employee.
Rule # 2 -Sponsoring company whose entrants represent must be paid sponsors of the IFCA. Sponsorship must be paid in full prior to finals event.
Rule # 3 - Roping Regulations - USTRC rules shall be followed with dally roping only except when superseded by local ground rules. Drop 20% of teams to start order of each go round.
Rule # 4 - Final Decision - The National Sponsors Directors and the President will have the final decision on the eligibility and will certify all qualified entrants for the National Sponsors Roping. In the event of any team eligibility or qualification being challenged, copies of the entries will be mailed (or delivered) to the Directors for their decision.
Rule # 5 - Grievance Committee - The Directors and the President will constitute this committee and all challenges must be filed prior to the first go round of any event at the National Finals.
Rule # 6 - Entrants who are eligible to rope in the Sponsor Roping will chose to rope as a Feedlot Roper or Sponsor Roper.
Rule # 7 - Sponsor Roping at the Finals will be two loops with the back gate open. Sponsor Roping at the Finals will be five head, progressive on one.. All qualified teams will advance to the Short Go, and the Incentive will end at the end of the fourth (4th) go. Pay off in the Sponsor Roping will be exactly the same as in all other ropings, with 10% to the go rounds, split two ways for the first, and the short go. Pay two places in the first round, and one place in the short go. 90% of the ropers pot will go to the average, with 20% of that amount to the Incentive. Pay four places in the average (Prizes through 6th place), and 3 places in the incentive.
All Sponsor Ropers and Sponsor Barrel Racers will need to be entered by noon, Thursday, July 9th, 2009. They may call to enter at 806-289-5353, or 806-344-5353, or enter in person at the Finals.
The Sponsor Roping for 2009 will be a # 13 Draw Pot, with a # 11 Incentive. Entry Fee will be $50.00 per team. Sponsors may enter a total of five (5) times. The Sponsor Roping will be five (5) rounds, progressive on one (1) The Sponsor Barrel Race will be two (2)rounds, no short go. The Sponsors Barrel Race entry fee will be $50.00.
